4、齒輪油泵不宜作空運轉(zhuǎn)，使用時，抽吸完畢，即停泵，否則會加速葉輪密封件軸承等磨損。也可能磨損泵管，因本泵電機空載轉(zhuǎn)速可達10000轉(zhuǎn)/分。

5、齒輪油泵及時調(diào)換電刷，電刷磨損到將不能使用時，須及時調(diào)換（2只電刷同時調(diào)換）否則會使電刷與換向器接觸不良引起壞損，損壞換向器，嚴重時會燒壞電樞。

6、齒輪油泵在下列情況下不得使用，在使用過程中如發(fā)現(xiàn)絕緣損壞，電源線工電纜護套破裂，插頭插座開裂或接觸不良，以及斷續(xù)運轉(zhuǎn)，出現(xiàn)嚴懲火花等故障時，電機外殼操作時，應立即進行修理。在未修復前不得使用。
